Usually this becomes an issue when a gamer has reached the point where there are only 15 or so Gold Bricks left to obtain and they cannot figure out what they did not do - chances are high that what you did not do was the rest of the Space Missions!
The space in between the two faction hubs is the space in which these missions take place - if you were traveling between them and you started and completed one of the missions there, then you have done a Space Mission! The Space Missions are probably the most misunderstood of all of the missions in the game because most players accidentally do some of them without realizing that they were doing a mission at all.
